Sustanon 250 is one of the most known and used anabolic and androgenic steroids. Here is a brief summary of its use in bodybuilding and sports.
Sustanon 250, whether it is from Schering, or another product that uses this name, is one of the most famous anabolic steroids. Unlike many injectable steroids, it is composed of a mixture of esters. Specifically, each vial, or milliliter, contains 30 mg testosterone propionate, 60 mg testosterone phenylpropionate, 60 mg testosterone isocaproate and 100 mg testosterone decanoate. This mix contains fast, medium and long acting esters.
For a steroid cycle, there are two advantages to combining esters with different times of action, such as those in Sustanon’s composition.
The use of multiple esters allows 250 mg / ml of the active substance to have a small percentage of substances to be dissolved in order to be injected. This is because the solubility of different esters of steroids is independent from one another. Typically, oil plus steroid solubility agents may contain 100 mg of active substance, up to 150 mg. So Sustanon, with its high concentration of active substance per milliliter, offers added comfort.
From a medical point of view, it is preferable for the patient to benefit from the effects of treatment as soon as possible. This is also true for steroid cycles; Sustanon offers immediate effects while at the same time having a longer-term effect in the body.
When will you start seeing results? – Sustanon’s multiple esters lead to somewhat more complex changes in levels of the active substance in the blood over time. In the case of a single ester, after a certain number of hours or days (varies from ester to ester), levels of the active substance in the blood drop by half. Once the same number of hours or days passes, the levels decrease with half of what they are, which means they drop by one fourth of the initial dose. Then, after the same number of hours or days, it drops 8 times the initial dose and so on. This phenomenon is called the half-life. There is no fixed half-life for Sustanon. It is estimated that after the last injection the levels decrease by half after 4 days, with one fourth after 10 days, with an optimum after 16 days and decreasing 16 times the initial dose after 23 days. If you digest the percentages, it drops to 40% after 6 days, 30% after 8 days, 20% after 11 days and 10% after 18 days.
